Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Ryan Dungey of KTM Red Bull Factory Racing USA bounced right back this weekend with a 1-2 result at Washougal to keep the pressure on Ryan Villopoto who took the overall win by virtue of victory in the second race and second behind Dungey in the first. The points gap remains the same and Dungey still has plenty to do in the coming rounds to get himself back into serious contention now but this is just the psychological boost he needs to keep his hopes alive.
Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Mike Alessi of the Motoconcepts Suzuki squad managed an excellent overall fifth place ahead of Andrew Short of BTO KTM, also on Raptor Titanium footpegs. Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Broc Tickle of RCH Suzuki took a great overall ninth to fill out the top ten for us.

The 250 class was ferociously competitive as ever, with the guys at the pointed end of the championship going at it hammer and tongs, but nobody could stop Geico Honda rider Eli tomac from storming away to victory in both races to take himself just one point behind Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Ken Roczen of the Factory KTM Red Bull USA team who took a solid 2-2 result on the day and dealt with the pressure immensely. Roczen was more concerned with challenges from his Factory KTM team-mate Marvin Musquin who grabbed overall third after showing his speed more and more this year and with him being just 57 points behind Tomac he could still have a say in this title sprint.
